    I needed a stylish, yet practical small satchel for university and work. The Jesolo 2 satchel fits this purpose perfectly, the quality of leather and construction is second to none. Customer service was efficient throughout, allthough there was a lenthy wait (4 weeks) for the satchel to be delivered. Overall a very satisfied customer, highly recommended.

    My experience with Maxwell Scott was excellent. I live in the United States and had been searching for a briefcase for some time. I came across the Maxwell Scott website using Google. At first I was interested in the Battista satchel. I sent an email to Maxwell Scott inquiring whether my 15 inch Mac would fit. They responded quickly and asked for the exact dimensions of my computer. After I sent the measurements, they determined that my laptop would not fit and recommended the Jesolo 2 instead of the Battista. I placed my order and received the bag in a matter of days, despite the overseas shipment. I could not be happier with my new briefcase. The construction is excellent and it is, quite simply, beautiful. The service I received from Maxwell Scott was extraordinary. The next time I need a bag of any sort, I will return to Maxwell Scott.

    Received this as a 40th birthday gift from my wife. Beautiful, the quality and workmanship inside and out was flawless! Just the right size as a work satchel, with ample space for documents and a laptop. And the smell is just heavenly... Would recommend unreservedly.

    I purchased this bag for work in 2008 and it's still going strong. I take it to work every day on the train, full of stuff. It gets carried between buildings and left on the floor in pubs but only looks better with age. Despite catching the strap in an underground station gate and ripping it down the seam, a quick repair had it as good as new. My only complaint is that the buckle on the strap has worn through twice, but they've repaired the strap free of charge on both occasions.

    I got this bag one year ago today and absolutely love it. The leather looks feels and smells amazing. The fittings are top notch and it has more than enough space for your daily/weekly requirements. I use it for business during the day and casual during the weekends. Unfortunately for me mine got stolen so if you do get one guard it with your life!!

    Overall, this is an exceptional bag. While there are minor annoyances, it is a fantastic purchase. First, the good. The leather quality is incredible. It really does exude quality. The interior finishings are of an equal quality. Aesthetically, this is a beautiful briefcase. For the negatives - the pen "slots" are small. This is fine if you are carrying a $1 BIC, but if you have a quality pen it will not fit in the slots. It's slightly annoying having a relatively expensive briefcase that can't hold high quality pens. Second, the outside buckles closing the satchel flap could be a fraction tighter. The bag tends to "droop" forward when packed full. Overall, the quality far exceeds any negatives. A gorgeous piece.

    We travel a great deal and my husband likes to keep all relevant documentation/paperwork together. Looked abroad in vain for a suitable bag for him...he is disabled and his hands give him problems dealing with openings/buckles/fasteners.     I had always wanted a really nice leather bag, and Maxwell-Scott delivered. The leather is of a quality I’ve never seen or experienced before. I don’t think they give themselves enough credit on the size of the interior of this bag. I was a little worried about being able to fit a laptop + charger in the bag, but there is no issue whatsoever, and I have space for an umbrella, a battery charger, a writing tablet, and much more. I think it’s worth noting that anything you store inside it will smell amazing as well. It’s also not too heavy if you opt to carry it.

    Yes - there are no receipts to remove as we are now paperless, ensuring your gifting experience remains special.     N.B. Please note that if payment is made with an American Express Card, the delivery can only be made to the billing address for the card. This is required of us by American Express.

    Can my loved one exchange their gift for another colour or style?

    We’re sure they’ll love it, however just to offer you that peace of mind, we gladly accept exchanges and returns within 60 days of receipt of goods. This excludes personalised items that cannot be returned.

    For UK orders, Next Working Day Delivery is free or Timed Next Working Day Delivery is available at a small cost. For US orders, Standard Delivery free or Express Delivery is available at a small cost. For AUS orders, there is only the option of Express Delivery, which is free. Kindly note that personalised gifts will take 24-48 hours longer to process and be delivered, even if the Next Working Day or Express Delivery is selected. Personalised orders will be sent on the selected delivery service once the personalisation has been applied to the product.

This additional service can be applied to your order for AUD23.00 . Smaller goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box wrapped in bespoke matte-finish navy paper, ribbon and gift card.     The placement of the lettering is unique to each product, our professional in-house embossing team uses their skill and experience to determine the very best placement according to the product. You’ll be able to find an example of the lettering positioning within the imagery on each product page.

    Pricing

    The price for embossing is a AUD 30 flat fee for up to 6 characters. If you require specialised personalisation with more than 6 characters or complex positioning, we can arrange this as a bespoke option with additional costs incurred.     Please note that our Croco leather cannot be embossed due to the textured finish of the leather.

    Due to the bespoke nature of our premium in-house embossing process, please allow an additional 48h for personalised items, particularly during busy periods. Where possible, we will endeavour to send out your items within the first 24 hours. Please note that unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on items that have been personalised as they have been uniquely crafted to meet your specifications.
