Our Service
The addition of our embossing service ensures that tradition is married with individuality so that your luxury leather gift can be one of a kind. After all, fine detail and master craftsmanship are at the heart of everything we do.
At Maxwell-Scott all of our Italian Leather gifts can be personalised as standard with up to 6 characters. Longer personalisation can be requested depending on the product and personalisation required for an additional charge upon request. Characters can be embossed in blind (no colour), or in coloured foil in gold, silver or copper. Whichever you choose, our embossing service is perfect for elevating smaller gifts such as cardholders and key rings, or for subtly personalising your investment Italian leather briefcase.

If you opt for personalisation on your purchased item(s), please allow an additional 48 hours for the embossing process during busy periods. Where possible, we will send out your items to you within the first 24 hours.
Due to the unique nature of embossed items, unfortunately, we cannot accept the return of an item that has been personalised.

Our Colour Options
Our embossers based at Maxwell Scott HQ in England use a traditional hot foil method to emboss your chosen letters onto the leather surface of our bags and accessories.
We offer 4 colour options:
BLIND
Perfect for a more subtle approach to personalisation: with blind embossing, no colour is added during the process.
GOLD
A luxurious accompaniment to any of our classic brown leathers, gold is always a popular choice for gift personalisation.
SILVER
This choice works best with our night black leather, complementing the silver metalwork beautifully.
COPPER
The modern option, a copper hue will pair well with our signature chestnut tan and chocolate brown leathers.
Additional Information
Positioning
We use our expertise and experience to determine the best placement of the lettering for your personalised leather gift, appropriate to the design of each product.
If you have any questions regarding the positioning of the letters or how many letters will fit on a specific product please contact us via the contact us page.
Pricing
The price for embossing is a AUD 40 flat fee for up to 6 characters.
Where an item requires specialised personalisation with more than 6 characters or complex positioning, this will incur additional costs. Please contact us for a bespoke quote via email info@maxwellscottbags.com or call us on 0870 242 4684.
Please note that our Croco leather cannot be embossed due to the textured finish of the leather.
Ordering & Delivery

Due to the unique nature of embossed items, we, unfortunately, cannot accept the return of an item that has been personalised. However, we are more than happy for you to purchase an item and return it to us to be embossed, once you are pleased with your delivery.
