    5 my new favourite Maxwell Scott Product
    The satchel brief is my favourite Maxwell Scott product (I have four) and I use it as my everyday bag. I'm an editor and carry a lot of books but those go in a tote; the size of the satchel is perfect for personal items, journals and one or two books I'm reading. It hugs the body comfortably -- it doesn't dangle or swing as I walk. This is due to the excellent proportions of the bag. It is also surprisingly roomy if I need it to be. It is sturdy (the straps may even be functional!) and elegant. It takes the cake.

    This is a great looking bag; the materials, quality and workmanship of this are all absolutely first class. I would happily recommend this to any one else with one (very small) caveat....think carefully about what you are going to carry in it, for it to be 'perfect' I think it could do with being about 1-2cm longer as it only just fits an A4 binder in it and I suspect that if you put loose A4 sheets in it they could become creased.

    I purchased the Battista bag for its versatility as a bag made for different occassions for my friend who travels for business but has his share of leisure time, as well. He absolutely loved the style and claimed his own high name brand bags have fallen apart over and over within a short time of use. He will surely treasure this quality made bag for years to come with its' attached warranty.

    Very nice quality satchel and very nicely packaged and presented. Shame it was out of stock and I had to wait, though I understand.

    Can I send my gift directly to the recipient’s address?

    Yes - there are no receipts to remove as we are now paperless, ensuring your gifting experience remains special. If you’ve chosen our gift-wrapping service, we can also personalise the notecard for you. Please enter your personal message in the box on the product page when selecting gift wrap as an option and we will hand write your message with care.

    N.B. Please note that if payment is made with an American Express Card, the delivery can only be made to the billing address for the card. This is required of us by American Express.

    Can my loved one exchange their gift for another colour or style?

    We’re sure they’ll love it, however just to offer you that peace of mind, we gladly accept exchanges and returns within 60 days of receipt of goods. This excludes personalised items that cannot be returned.

    How soon can my order be delivered?

    For UK orders, Next Working Day Delivery is free or Timed Next Working Day Delivery is available at a small cost. For US orders, Standard Delivery free or Express Delivery is available at a small cost. For AUS orders, there is only the option of Express Delivery, which is free. Kindly note that personalised gifts will take 24-48 hours longer to process and be delivered, even if the Next Working Day or Express Delivery is selected. Personalised orders will be sent on the selected delivery service once the personalisation has been applied to the product.

    How will my gift be presented?

    We ensure that all of our products are carefully wrapped and attentively presented as standard, with our Maxwell-Scott monogrammed tissue paper and logo sticker. To add an extra special touch, we offer a gift wrapping service to professionally wrap your gifts. This additional service can be applied to your order for AUD 23.00. Smaller goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box wrapped in elegant silver paper, ribbon and a gift card. Larger goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box, finished with ribbon and a gift card.

    Positioning

    The placement of the lettering is unique to each product, our professional in-house embossing team uses their skill and experience to determine the very best placement according to the product. You’ll be able to find an example of the lettering positioning within the imagery on each product page.

    Additionally, if you have any further questions regarding the positioning of the letters or how many letters will fit on a specific product please contact us via the Contact Us page.

    Pricing

    The price for embossing is a AUD 30 flat fee for up to 6 characters. If you require specialised personalisation with more than 6 characters or complex positioning, we can arrange this as a bespoke option with additional costs incurred.     Please note that our Croco leather cannot be embossed due to the textured finish of the leather.

    Ordering & Delivering

    Due to the bespoke nature of our premium in-house embossing process, please allow an additional 48h for personalised items, particularly during busy periods. Where possible, we will endeavour to send out your items within the first 24 hours. Please note that unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on items that have been personalised as they have been uniquely crafted to meet your specifications. If you’re unsure, we’re more than happy for you to purchase an item and return it to us to be embossed, once you are pleased with your purchase.     Finest Full-Grain Vachetta Leather
    Often imitated but never matched, our high-quality full-grain Vachetta leather is unrivalled due to three essential components:
    1. HIDES - we source only European hides reared in perfect conditions, ensuring tough and durable leather with a quality finish.
    2. TANNING PROCESS - we use a natural centuries-old technique of vegetable-tanning which is both organic and sustainable.
