    I ordered this washbag for my boyfriend for Christmas. I was immediatley told that they were out of stock - when I rang customer services they were really helpful and let me know when they were expecting new ones in - and as promised, more stock came in, on time, and I received the quality washbag in time for Christmas. Really efficient and helpful. The washbag is beautiful quality and much better priced than any I could find of similar quality in big department stores. Really recommend. One suggestion: when I have bought high quality leather goods from other retailers they often come in a simple logo drawstring dustbag cover - this would make an etra nice finishing touch for such a premium product at not much extra cost. Many thanks for providing me with such a great Christmas gift!

    My wife bought this leather washbag for me as a birthday present back in May. I love the size, feel, quality and leather of the washbag, but I have to say that the way it closes and the running of the zip are not as brilliant as I have come to expect of other MS items I have bought. The zip is a bit coarse and doesn't run particularly freely and the way that the zip has to go over a 90 degree 'hump' when the bag closes is not ideal either.

    I have just used my new tan washbag on a weekend away and I am delighted with it. The medium size easily holds everything I need, while fitting neatly into a small case. The leather is beautiful quality and smells divine. It's also very robust and I can see it lasting a long time. The only slight niggle is the zip which is a bit fiddly owing to the shape of the washbag. However, this doesn't detract from the overall quality of the product and I would highly recommend it. It definitely won't be my last purchase from Maxwell Scott!

    I purchased this wash bag in March 2016 and it's used a lot . I've found Maxwell Scott's leather goods just look better with usage. It is very well made as all of the Maxwell Scott items I have purchased (historically 6 items and last week 2 others bags, 1 for me and 1 for my wife) and today 3 other items. I have found the them all extremely well made. The leather quality is outstanding. I have only purchased them in Chestnut Tan and the colour exudes quality. And all my historical purchases have aged beautifully. Without a doubt I would recommend this Maxwell Scott item

    Just to let you know, the bag arrived on Friday (so hardly any delay at all in the end) and I am absolutely delighted with it - size and colour are perfect, it's a little heavy but there is no doubting the quality of the leather & workmanship and I have no doubt but that it will last well.

    Fantastic service from Maxwell Scott, received the personalised wash bag within 2 days which exceeded expectations. It is a beautifully crafted wash bag & as it is a gift for my husbands birthday it therefore hasn’t been used as intended yet. What I liked about this wash bag was the fact that it opens out to allow good access to the contents, it is lovely leather & the personalisation is a lovely touch.     Can I send my gift directly to the recipient’s address?

    Yes - there are no receipts to remove as we are now paperless, ensuring your gifting experience remains special. If you’ve chosen our gift-wrapping service, we can also personalise the notecard for you. Please enter your personal message in the box on the product page when selecting gift wrap as an option and we will hand write your message with care.

    N.B. Please note that if payment is made with an American Express Card, the delivery can only be made to the billing address for the card. This is required of us by American Express.

    Can my loved one exchange their gift for another colour or style?

    We’re sure they’ll love it, however just to offer you that peace of mind, we gladly accept exchanges and returns within 60 days of receipt of goods. This excludes personalised items that cannot be returned.

    How soon can my order be delivered?

    For UK orders, Next Working Day Delivery is free or Timed Next Working Day Delivery is available at a small cost. For US orders, Standard Delivery free or Express Delivery is available at a small cost. For AUS orders, there is only the option of Express Delivery, which is free. Kindly note that personalised gifts will take 24-48 hours longer to process and be delivered, even if the Next Working Day or Express Delivery is selected. Personalised orders will be sent on the selected delivery service once the personalisation has been applied to the product.

    We ensure that all of our products are carefully wrapped and attentively presented as standard, with our Maxwell-Scott monogrammed tissue paper and logo sticker. To add an extra special touch, we offer a gift wrapping service to professionally wrap your gifts. This additional service can be applied to your order for AUD 23.00. Smaller goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box wrapped in elegant silver paper, ribbon and a gift card. Larger goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box, finished with ribbon and a gift card.

    Positioning

    The placement of the lettering is unique to each product, our professional in-house embossing team uses their skill and experience to determine the very best placement according to the product. You’ll be able to find an example of the lettering positioning within the imagery on each product page.

    Additionally, if you have any further questions regarding the positioning of the letters or how many letters will fit on a specific product please contact us via the Contact Us page.

    Pricing

    The price for embossing is a AUD 30 flat fee for up to 6 characters. If you require specialised personalisation with more than 6 characters or complex positioning, we can arrange this as a bespoke option with additional costs incurred.     Please note that our Croco leather cannot be embossed due to the textured finish of the leather.

    Ordering & Delivering

    Due to the bespoke nature of our premium in-house embossing process, please allow an additional 48h for personalised items, particularly during busy periods. Where possible, we will endeavour to send out your items within the first 24 hours. Please note that unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on items that have been personalised as they have been uniquely crafted to meet your specifications. If you’re unsure, we’re more than happy for you to purchase an item and return it to us to be embossed, once you are pleased with your purchase.     Often imitated but never matched, our high-quality full-grain Vachetta leather is unrivalled due to three essential components:

    2. TANNING PROCESS - we use a natural centuries-old technique of vegetable-tanning which is both organic and sustainable.

Due to the nature of our luxurious Maxwell Scott leather, minor scuffs may be gently rubbed or buffed out with ease. Each of our stunning luxury leather wash bags has been beautifully constructed with strong zips, supple yet sturdy vegetable tanned leather, and our keen attention to detail. Lining the wash bag is a truly amazing polyamide material which has not only been recognised as being the most hardwearing lining available, but can be wiped clean with ease. This beautiful robust product is ideal to take away on vacation, as its soft shape can be easily packed without damaging its appearance.
