Item appears of high quality with excellent thick stitching. It arrived in a nice presentation box within 3 days, it would make a good gift already being in a box and only having to wrap it. The only thing to note is that I was hesitant to purchase it due to the price but it is quality made and if I needed another for whatever reason I would get one.

I purchased this glasses case in 2014 and it's been used almost every day and it looks better than new. I've found Maxwell Scott's leather goods just look better with usage. It is very well made as all of the Maxwell Scott items I have purchased (historically 6 items and last week 2 others bags, 1 for me and 1 for my wife) and today 3 other items.
I have found the them all extremely well made.
The leather quality is outstanding.
I have only purchased them in Chestnut Tan and the colour exudes quality.
And all my historical purchases have aged beautifully.
Without a doubt I would recommend this Maxwell Scott item

This is a really gorgeous Spectacle case, well made, beautiful leather and although it’s a bit pricey is it so worth the money. My reading glasses fit really well, even my sunglasses would fit if I decided to use it for them. I highly recommend this case, it’s lovely!

Forty quid for a soft case for my glasses? Did I need my head examined?
Well, maybe. I had a little bit of birthday money burning a hole in my pocket, and I DID want a spectacle case. And I have a real fondness for Italian leather. So I took the plunge.
And I don't regret it at all. This is a lovely case, and unless I lose it, I'll happily be using it for the rest of my life. And if I do lose it, I'll probably buy an identical one to replace it. It just squeaks of quality, and there's a definite feel-good factor to owning it.
It would also be an outstanding gift for someone, because even the high-class beauty of the packaging screams "QUALITY ITEM INSIDE" . Get this for someone, and they'll know they've got something very special even before they open the box.
So, worth every penny. And definitely five-stars!

I am a huge fan of this company's products. This glasses case is roomy, it fits sunglasses snuggly, reading glasses with cloth cleaner easily. the leather is soft and nicely tactile. It looks the part and oozes class. It is soft but protective more so than the other soft leather cases around, however, it is not meant to be nor is it a hard case. I particularly like the fact that you can order other products in the same leather. I have the pen case and they look good together. in summary, soft high-class leather, nice to touch does the job while looking excellent. Highly recommended.
